Food Security & Nutrition Report 2019
There were 821 million chronically undernourished people in the world last year, up from 811 the previous year says the new edition of the annual State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World Report 2019.
The Report confirms a rise in world hunger for a third year in a row. The upward trend of world hunger – after decades of steady decline – yet again underscores the immense challenge of achieving the Zero Hunger target by 2030.
