Family announces date for Actor Ekow Blankson’s funeral

The family of the late Veteran Actor, Ekow Blankson, has slated December 16 and 17, 2022, for his funeral rites.

Over the weekend, the family held a one-week memorial service for the late Actor at Community II Presec School Park.

“The family has decided that final funeral rites for our beloved Ekow Blankson will happen on December 17 here in Tema”, the MC announced.

According to a family member of the actor, the funeral will begin at the Tema Community 11 Presec school park and will be followed by interment at the Tema Community 9 cemetery.

Many showbiz personalities and those outside the circle were present at the one-week memorial service to sympathize and commiserate with the bereaved family.

Members of the Actors Guild led by their President, Bill Asamoah and other colleagues from the Creative Arts Industry were in attendance to offer their support.

 

Other actors present included Kalybos, Fiifi Coleman, Fred Amugi, Michael Afranie, Prince David Osei, Anthony Wood, and Beverly Afaglo.

The Actor, the Commercial Manager at Ghana Web, died on Monday, October 3, 2022.
He was 50.

Though the cause of his death is still not known, the last video before his death captured him in the hospital interacting with some nurses.
